Meet Vivian Sona
Vivian Sona has an impressive 14 years of experience in the healthcare field, which she now brings to Compassionate Psychiatric Services. Vivian, a doctorate-prepared, double board-certified family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, possesses a wealth of experience in addiction medicine and is highly knowledgeable in mental health diagnosis.
She has a deep understanding of advanced treatment options for treatment-resistant depression, such as SPRAVATO and Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Specializing in a range of treatment specialties, including ADHD, major depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and substance use, our goal is to provide individualized treatment plans and holistic mental health care.
She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, she obtained her Post-Master's Nurse Practitioner Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Liberty University. She graduated from South University with a Master's degree in Science of Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Vivian's commitment to her patients and her vast expertise makes her an invaluable asset to our team.
She will spend most of his time in Southlake, with one day in the Frisco office.
